Dr. Yi Feng Discusses her History in the Medical Field

"After spending my first eighteen years in Shanghai, China, I moved with my parents and sister to Detroit, Michigan. I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Medical Doctor degree, followed with an anesthesia residency at BayIor College of Medicine. I feel blessed to be able to pursue my dream career in medicine despite a difficult transition due to the language and culture barriers. I have been practicing as an anesthesiologist for over twenty years. I enjoy being patients’ “favorite person” at their most vulnerable time and take pride in providing passionate and quality care. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling the world, cooking, and dancing." - Dr. Feng
